Houseproud is a cleaning agency with a difference; we aim to provide you with a friendly, but professional personal service. Each cleaner is specifically chosen to meet your requirements and you will have the same cleaner/ironer on each visit.We believe it is vital that you stay in control and therefore ask you to supply all the necessary products required to clean your home. At least then you can be sure that the correct fluids are being used to care for your home and good hygiene standards are maintained. Our prices start from £18.70* per hour inclusive of VAT. Our cleaners and ironers are paid £15 per hour and the balance of £3.70 is the fee that Houseproud charges per hour. Oven and carpet cleaning charges will be quoted on application. *2024 prices

House cleaning
We are specialists in house cleaning and make a difference to over 200 homes in our region, ranging from studio apartments to grand country residences, from 2 hours per fortnight to 26 hours per week. We can help you by cleaning your whole house from top to bottom or just carrying out specified tasks. Some of our clients just have their kitchen and bathroom cleaned, others floors and bathrooms. There are all sorts of combinations that we offer, to suit your requirements and finances.
Following your initial enquiry, we will arrange to visit you in your home at a mutually convenient time. This visit gives us an opportunity to get to know you and to establish your requirements. From this, we will provide you with a detailed cleaning specification that is tailor-made for your home. This will be closely adhered to each time we clean your home, although it can be adapted at anytime to suit your changing needs.
Once this specification is completed, we will then be in a position to allocate a cleaner to you. They will be carefully selected to match your requirements. We will not only consider their cleaning skills, but also their personality.
Ironing services
If you can’t face ironing your husband’s shirts or even your own shirts or blouses and you dread ironing the sheets and duvet cover, Houseproud can come to the rescue.
The majority of clients who use our ironing service, also have their cleaning done by Houseproud. The cleaner either irons the clothes in situ on the same day as the cleaning is carried out, or returns on a different day to complete the ironing. Alternatively, if you prefer, your cleaner may take the ironing home with them and return it to you completed on another day.
We also have dedicated ironers who will visit your home to iron your clothes at a prearranged time each week.
Spring and blitz cleans
We are passionate about cleaning and relish the opportunity to give your home a really good deep clean. It may be for a special occasion like a party or you may be moving house. Let’s face it, house buying and selling is stressful enough, without having to worry about cleaning the house from which you are moving, as well as the one you are moving to.Whatever the circumstances, we have a team of experienced ‘Spring and Blitz’ cleaners who will make a real difference to your home. We’ll even organise for the carpets and oven to be cleaned by specialists.Houseproud’s fees for Spring and Blitz cleans start at £18 per hour (plus VAT).Oven and carpet cleaning charges will be quoted on application.
